Dr Mukesh Ajmera

Experience of 30+ years.
A young doctor started his journey in medicine in 1984 at the Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Jaipur. Over the next 5+ years he became enamoured with the branch of internal medicine. After all no other branch offers the challenges and satisfaction the way internal medicine does, no other doctor has the level of patient interaction an IM does.
His journey brought him to the Internal Medicine department of his alma-mater for a further 3 years as a resident physician in 1994. Three years of seeing thousands of patients at a Government medical college, leaves one with little to imagine, such was his tenure too, having seen a broad spectrum of common and rare diseases, his confidence in his diagnostic ability only grew.
His quest for knowledge and a yearning to specialise in Cardiology brought him to Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi in 1996, one of the most prominent and among the select few cardiac-centered hospitals in the entire nation at the time. It is here he went on to acquire three years of specialist experience working as a fellow and senior resident under the mentorship of some of the most renowned names in cardiac treatment at the time.
Following the completion of his nearly 12 years of training, he joined numerous hospitals and centers in central and east Delhi. His routine involved working 14-15 hours a day, 6 days a week, offering both OPD and IPD advice to patients from all walks of life, covering nearly 14 different hospitals a week as a general physician and cardiologist. After nearly 10+ years of working tirelessly, he laid the foundation of Dr Ajmera Diagnostics with his wife in the year 2007.
His academic inclination never diminished despite a busy career leaving him little time; he went on to be certified as a Fellow of the IMSA in the year 2002. In 2016, he was conferred as a Fellow of American College of Cardiology (FACC), a degree awarded by the American College of Cardiology in Chicago. The FACC is awarded only to a limited set of cardiologists each year, ones who have proven themselves to be proficient in the field of cardiology and are working at par with global standards.
Dr Laveena Ajmera
MBBS, DMRD
Experience of 30+ years.
An academically bright, young girl, was motivated by her equally academic parents to explore a career in medicine. She started her MBBS in 1987 at the Rabindranath Tagore Medical College, Udaipur. During her internship her encounters in the department of Radiology left her with an inclination towards imaging.
Subsequently she enrolled herself to train as a radiologist at the Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Jaipur in 1995. It was here that she mastered herself in ultrasound, X-rays, barium and CT scans. Top of her class, she was confident in her scanning abilities and knew she wanted to carve a niche for herself in ultrasonography.
She setup the radiology department at a hospital in Karol Bagh and functioned as the head radiologist providing ultrasonography and X-ray services for 12 years. During this time, she developed a fervent for obstetric scans. To further hone the skills she went to train under a nation renowned Fetal Imaging specialist in Thane, Maharashtra in 2003.
The desire to start something completely of her own, and her passion for ultrasonography brought her to envision opening Dr Ajmera Diagnostics with her husband. To focus on the growth of the center and patient satisfaction, she dedicated herself full-time to the center from 2012 onwards. To this day, despite having become a senior consultant radiologist, she works full days at the center. Her areas of interest particularly include obstetric scans, and fetal echocardiography.
